Released in November 2021, the three-track ‘Bangers & Trash’ EP was a spectacle of unfiltered booty house and ghettotech packed with sex-positive symbolism from UK artist Ugly Drugless and Madrid-based producer DJ Sweat. Now, tracks from the EP have been remixed by Angel D’Lite, Fiesta Soundsissy and FAFF, who each put their own club-ready spins on the rowdy original cuts, with all proceeds going to trans-led community action group, We Exist.
Angel D’Lite puts a breakbeat hardcore spin on ‘Pingerz for a Tenner’, while Fiesta Soundsissy transforms ‘Hey Boy’ into a Squarepusher-like sugar-rush. FAFF’s ‘fisting our way to heaven’ remix of ‘Titties’ is a bawdy rave banger complete with an ecstatic trance flourish.
