London dubstep star SICARIA has unveiled a new remix package of her 'Blood, Sweat & Self' EP.
Landing on her freshly-minted imprint, Club Confi:DANCE, the four-tracker opens with a new interpretation of 'Still Swinging' by British-Lebanese multi-genre talent Saliah.
Meanwhile, DJ Mag Best of North America 2023 Awards Breakthrough DJ Winner Anna Morgan takes on '(Not So) Serious Ting' and Los Angeles-born innovator Introspekt transforms 'Freak 2 Freak'. Cardiff's purveyor of dark and driving beats, Kyrist, reworks 'Tout de Sweet for the final track.
Originally unveiled in November, 'Blood, Sweat and Self' also arrived courtesy of SICARIA's new label. Inspired by the work of artist and photographer Cindy Sherman, who spent decades capturing images of herself under different guises, the record is intended to showcase the producer and DJ's multidirectional sounds, which in turn reflect different aspects of her personality and psyche.
Last year, SICARIA stepped up to contribute to DJ Mag's Selections series, hand-picking landmarks and hidden gems from the 140 BPM spectrum. A few months later, Introspekt stepped up for the Recognise mix and interview series.
