Tiësto Celebrates 4.5 Billion Streams with the Biggest Plaque I’ve Ever Seen

There are a LOT events, gatherings, and shows going on in Amsterdam this weekend, both for the music industry and music fans alike. Ahead the Amsterdam Music Festival and DJ Mag Top 100 reveal tomorrow, during which Tiësto will undoubtedly retain his position in the top 10, he received an absolutely massive plaque from his label, Universal Music Group.

The plaque was bequeathed unto Tiësto in celebration 4.5 billion global streams, which is a huge number no matter how big an artist you are. But the true craziness the plaque (pictured below) is just how absolutely massive it is.

For reference, Tiësto is 6’2″. Standing next to the plaque, it has to be at least five feet tall on its own, if not more, and perhaps two and a half feet wide. The Dutch DJ’s caption reads, “How do you think I should get this home?!” And that’s a damn good question!!

You can listen to his latest single, “God Is A Dancer” with Mabel, below. Released less than a month ago, it already has nearly 15 million streams on its own.
