Voodoo Music + Arts Experience was delayed by one hour today due to heavy weather that rolled in last night. Strong winds and rains took over the grounds in the festival’s first day.
Today, an hour delay didn’t make too much a difference, considering gates opened up at 1 PM instead noon. However, the lineup was slightly affected by this.
Overnight, one two 30-feet LED video walls fell down at the main stage. It reportedly was blown over Saturday morning before guests arrived on site.
In addition, Snails experienced technical difficulties during the storm, per his tweet below.
Tonight, Bassnectar, The Glitch Mob, ZHU, and more take the stage. See any schedule changes at www.voodoestival.com.
VOODOO IM SINCERLY FOR ALL THE TECHNICAL ISSUES THAT HAPPENNED DURING MY SET.. THE RAIN LEAKED INTO THE MIXER AND STOPPED THE SOUND. WE STILL KEPT OUR SMILE ON AND RAGE BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STAYING AND RAGING WITH ME IT MEANS THE WORLD THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
