Last month, Rezz teased a nondescript “2 hr BBC radio mix” on Twitter. Anyone who’s been paying attention to electronic music for the last decade or so knew what this meant — an Essential Mix. Now, the time has come!
Rezz has announced her two-hour BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut, out Saturday, August 24th. The mix arrives ahead a massive fall headlining tour including LA’s Greek Theater, Red Rocks, and more.
Only so many artists are invited to deliver an Essential Mix each year, and Rezz finds herself in good company this year with Cassius, Andy C, Alesso, Lee Burridge, and more.
Her Essential Mix will be available for 30 days after broadcasting the BBC Sounds app and online, but someone is sure to upload an unficial mix to Mixcloud soon after. Stay tuned!
