If you haven’t heard, Groove Island is on track to set a new standard for festivals on the west coast.

It takes place on Catalina Island from September 27th – 30th and fers a lush paradise to explore, sand beaches, dance halls, bars, restaurants and a whole world activities. The whole place has a certain Hollywood romance, breathtaking views, mountainous terrain, palm trees and plenty more to sink into, all without the horrible Hollywood air quality.

It started after the popularity the Will Ferrell film Step Brothers, but Groove Island turns the energy up to 11 for this one. The much anticipated Wine Mixer includes fun, live bands, DJs, gourmet food and fine wine and will be a great way to spend an afternoon in the sun.


Stunning and unspoiled, Catalina Island is world renowned for its diverse and unique wildlife and it is said that there are more than 60 plant and animal species on the island that you will find nowhere else. As such, you should head out on a hike around the locale and up the stunning peak Orizaba for amazing views down over the two harbors on the island.
